It is amazing to see the failings of the society which we have allowed to materialize over the past 50 years, and which we continue to allow to exist. Likewise, it in incomprehensible as one seeks to reconcile in one’s mind the sheer numbers of good people who are not willing to do the hard work required to repair our brokenness.

Rather than collecting and analyzing the pertinent facts in any particular situation, modern people have been brainwashed into reacting from feelings before any though processes are engaged. As a result, words are loosed, actions occur and harm is caused and may possibly never be corrected.

Truth never changes. It is not possible for every individual’s determination of truth to be correct. If every ideology is truth, then there is no truth. Feelings are fickle and fallible. In this culture in which we currently find ourselves, feelings and emotions are the “go to” response no matter how compelling the truth or evidence might be in a particular situation.

It is absolutely frustrating to see the failures of the new socialistic and progressive ideologies, taught in our education system and in the political realm, taking over the thought processes of modern people. Group think, herd mentality, unfettered psychobabble, and an unnatural unwillingness to use reason are killing our future, our hope, and our people.

God’s Truth doesn’t change like the philosophies of man. Malachi 3:6a says, “For I am the Lord, I change not.”

Here are a few other references to the only absolute truth,

Your justice is eternal, and your instructions are perfectly true. (Psalm 119:142)

You are near, O Lord, and all your commands are true.
(Psalm 119:51)

The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. (Psalm 119:160)

The only way we can reestablish decency, goodness, morality and positive change in this modern cultural debacle is to return to God’s truth. Jesus said it himself in John 17:17, as he was praying to the father. “Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.”

Put your feelings and emotions away for a few days and take an objective look at the world around you. Stop listening to the false teacher and fake news. Seek God’s truth and his righteousness that he might use you to free someone else whose feet are stuck in the quagmire of this current moral morass in which we find ourselves. Otherwise, we will all continue to hurtle toward further frustration and ultimate failure.
