In this current culture in which we find ourselves, truth is seen as irrelevant, antiquated and out of fashion. Moral relativism, humanism, and individual opinion or “personal preference” have so infected our society, that objective truth is unrecognizable to the general public.

I do not like to quote those who have contributed to the problem, but this Orwellian set of behaviors that has convoluted the moral fiber of our nation must be addressed. Orwell, a “democratic socialist,” discussed and predicted the situation in which we currently find ourselves. It seems people are charging for with abandon to fulfill these teachings.

” The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”

“Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing.”

“The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.”

Group think, denial of the Judaeo-Christian foundation upon which this country was founded and extreme self-centeredness, truly rule the day today. No matter where one looks, there are manifestations of the rejection of established truth and an open-armed reception of immorality and evil. Those who offer traditional solutions to help our society are shouted down by those who deny and hate the notion of objective truth.

Without a solid moral anchorage, this country and this culture will slip farther and farther from sanity and safety. The heart of man is described as “deceitful above all things, and desperately sick,” in Jeremiah 17:9. We are experiencing this truth today in every aspect of society.

We must move back toward traditional values if we hope to exist and remain a people whose nation is exceptional. We must recognize duty to family, country, and God, above personal preference and moral relativism. What we see on the news is the direct result of humanism and its logical conclusion run amuck.

17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. 18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. 19 And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. (John 3:17-19).

There is an answer for evil behavior… life-change by returning to the truths laid forth not only in our founding documents, but in the document that was the source of moral integrity for the founders during the genesis of this great nation.
